Abstract: Includes chiefly manuscripts written by the English novelist Olivia Manning, including four of the novels comprising The Balkan Trilogy and The Levant Trilogy, both based on her experiences during World War II. Also present are large groups of her letters to Francis King and from Ivy Compton-Burnett which chronicle the friendship of the fellow novelists.
