Among his correspondents are Walter Besant, Sir Hall Caine, Cassell, Petter and Galpin, Edward Matthew Ward, and others. Research material that was gathered by Dorothy Sayers as she worked on bibliographic, biographical, and critical studies of Collins is also present in the collection.
