Abstract: The collection includes three manuscript accounts of the execution of Beatrice Cenci and other members of the Cenci family at Rome in 1599 for the murder of the family patriarch, Francesco Cenci. The incident has been the subject of a number of literary and musical works, including Percy Bysshe Shelley's verse drama The Cenci (1819).
