The Elena Balieff Literary File consists of 337 photographs, the bulk of which are images of various people. Subjects include Balieff and her family, as well as Serge Soudeikine and other Russian theater personalities associated with Nikita Balieff's company, Teatr "Letuchaia Mushe" (Chauve-Souris). An index at the end of this guide lists photographers whose work is featured in this file. Further descriptions of some items are available in a card catalog in the repository.
