Scope and Contents
The John Keats Literary File consists of five photographs, including images of a sculpted bust of Keats and a framed miniature of Fannie Brawne. There is also a view of the memorial stones at the graves of John Keats and Joseph Severn. Most of the photographers are unidentified.
This file forms a part of the Literary File Collection, which is comprised of photographs and albums withdrawn from the libraries and/or papers of literary figures, and generally include portraits and images collected by or of those figures.

The stone at right reads in part: "To the Memory of JOSEPH SEVERN Devoted friend and death bed companion of JOHN KEATS whom he lived to see numbered among The Immortal Poets of England." |
