The Parker Tyler Literary File consists of 279 photographic prints and negatives, including portraits and snapshots of Tyler, Pavel Tchelitchew, and various other people; photographic reproductions of art works by various artists; views of stained glass windows; and production material for Tyler’s book
The materials are arranged as follows: images of Tyler and others; reproductions of artwork; and images in each of three albums. Descriptions were derived by the archivist from inscriptions on the image or in albums, where available. Original prints exist for all negatives. An index at the end of this guide lists photographers whose work is featured in this file.
This file forms a part of the Harry Ransom Center’s Literary File Collection, which is comprised of photographs and albums withdrawn from the libraries and/or papers of literary figures, and generally includes photographs either taken by, collected by, or of those figures.
Additional materials by and about Tyler are located in the Ransom Center's Parker Tyler Papers.
