DESCRIPTION   Interior view of the Texas Cafe located across the street from the Nueces Hotel South in Corpus Christi, Texas, and owned by George Plomarity. Customers sit at tables and chairs on the left side of the room. Along the right side stretches the serving counter and fixed stools. Four servers stand behind the counter; the man at right is George Nichols. Seated at the counter, in suit and hat, is Matt Pellegrino. They sold beer for 10¢ a glass or 15¢ a bottle. A club breakfast cost 30¢; fish, 35¢; a plate lunch, 25¢; Irish stew, 25¢; and ham and eggs, 35¢. Note the two Razzle Dazzle gaming devices on the counter and the pinball table on the left. Also note the National Recovery Administration (NRA) sign on the rear wall.
