DESCRIPTION   Interior view of the Eastern Seed Company, located at 301 South Staples, Corpus Christi, Texas. Three men stand behind the counters. The man in white shirt and dark bow tie is Grady Curtis Clark, also pictured is Robert M. Currie who was one of Clark's business competitors. Note the sack of Purina rabbit chow and the canister of Hotkaps miniature hot houses in the foreground. Note also the seed display boxes, the canisters of Ceresan fungicide, and the bulk seed drawers behind the counter. Eastern Seed Company later became the Currie Seed Company. Both Clark and Currie can also be seen in negative 976:0021:0006.
