TITLE   Unidentified cafe
DESCRIPTION   Interior view of an unidentified cafe in Corpus Christi or Refugio, Texas. This cafe was probably in the port area, near the main business district. Two women and two men stand behind a small L-shaped wooden counter. A man sits on a stool eating a meal. At the near end of the bar is a wooden bench instead of stools. The menu, offering a plate lunch for 30¢ and stew for 20¢, a National Recovery Administration (NRA) sign, and a Texas map dated 1932-33 are on the wall. Note the decorative trim on the two shelves behind the counter and the group photograph on the top shelf.
