TITLE   Jett's Grocery
DESCRIPTION   Interior view of Jett's Grocery located at Tancahua Street and Railroad Avenue in Corpus Christi, Texas. Four young men in white aprons stand behind bulk bins of noodles and beans. A fifth man, also in white apron, stands behind a display of Sioux Bee honey. On top of the bins are loaves of Fair-Maid sliced bread and bags of wafer cookies. This store was owned by Mr. Echols. Jett's sold Taystee, Fair-Maid, and Butter-Krust breads, Canada Dry, Embree's giant cherry rhubarbs, Colonial butter pretzels, Admiration coffee, and Blackhawk bacon. As was customary at this time, the produce was kept unrefrigerated.
