DESCRIPTION   Interior view of Guy Bros., M & M store no. 1, located at Taylor Street and Chaparral Street in Corpus Christ, Texas. This store was part of the "M System." Three men in white aprons stand behind the checkout counter and a glass case displaying bonbons, Oh Henry! and Baby Ruth candy bars, and striped candy canes. On top of the case are boxes of Roi-Tan, George H. Childs, and Cremo cigars, along with containers of Epson salts. Brothers Rush and Walter A. Guy (also known as "Big Guy" and "Little Guy") owned this self-service chain store. They sold cigarettes for 17¢ and 18¢ and chocolate candy for 25¢ per pound.
