DESCRIPTION   View of the meat counter at Guy Bros., M & M store no. 1, located at Taylor Street and Chaparral Street in Corpus Christi, Texas. This store was part of the "M System." Two young men in white aprons and caps stand behind a glass front deli case. Ralph Buster, the man standing at right, is the son of John W. Buster, former owner of the meat market at Biel's Self-Service Grocery. M & M sold meats for 12¢ and 18¢ per pound; chili squares, 10¢; and First Lady corn for 12¢ per can. Note the Stimpson meat scales on the deli case.
