TITLE   Tribble's Meat Market
DESCRIPTION   Interior view of Tribble's Meat Market in Corpus Christi, Texas. Two men in white aprons stand behind a counter appearing to run the full length of the store. The left side of the counter is a deli case containing meats. The right side of the counter is marble-topped and holds the cash register and a large scale. Customers called this market with their orders, as indicated by the cradle phone and the note pads on the counter in front of the men. A sign in the back advertises that they are open every day. Note the walk-in coolers, the marble top counter, and the ammonia-refrigerated pipe across the windows. Tribble's was the only place in town using this method.
