DESCRIPTION   Interior view of an unidentified grocery store located near Corpus Christi, Texas. Two women and a man stand behind the counter. Canned and boxed goods line the shelves behind them. Two children stand in front of the counter next to metal bins of potatoes. The store sold Irish and sweet potatoes; bulk eggs; Valley raisins; Admiration, Chase & Sanborn, and Miracle coffees; Rippled Wheat cereal; Royal Dessert gelatin, 1¢ per package; and Farm Made sugar cane syrup. Note the ice chest for meat and baker's yeast; on top of the ice chest is a Mexican figurine identical to one that appears in the photograph of the Manhattan Café (negative 976:0021:0095).
