DESCRIPTION   Interior view of an unidentified grocery store in Corpus Christi, Texas. A woman and two men in aprons stand behind a display case. In front of the case stand a boy in a baseball cap, a man in a bowtie, and another man. The man in the bow tie is possibly postman Isaac C. Kerridge. This grocery was self-service as indicated by the baskets. The store sold Jell-O, Folger's and H and H coffees, Baby Ruth and Butterfinger candy bars, hot barbeque, chili-con-carne, Wilson meats, dressed hens, Tom's peanuts, and Jewel shortening. Note the sign "Bring Us Your Starch Coupons," that refers to a government starch giveaway program.
