DESCRIPTION   Interior view of an unidentified grocery store located at 1019 South Staples Street in Corpus Christi, Texas. Owner, Otha Bonham, stands behind a glass counter displaying various candies, including Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, and Hershey's candy bars. Another man in a white apron stands behind a meat counter at right. This grocery was self-service as indicated by the bin of baskets. The store sold Colonial cakes, Kraft products, assorted candies, Mystery Edge razor blades, a chewing laxative, and aspirin. Note the refrigerated meat counter and the National Recovery Act (NRA) sign in the back.
