DESCRIPTION   Interior view of Nueces Hardware and Implement Company located at 323 North Chaparral Street in Corpus Christi, Texas. Three men stand in the center of a large room surrounded by display tables. A cash register sits on a table next to a display of pots, pans, and percolators. The man in the dark sweater is Millard Boyd. This area of the store sold glassware, buckets, flower pots, bird cages, hand tools, leather strapping, covered roasters, pots and pans, and steamers. Advertised are G.E. refrigerators. Note the footballs suspended from the ceiling with a basketball in the center and the model sailing ship, "The Margaret," which was built by Captain Andy Anderson. Also note the sign for the ladies' waiting and restroom.
