Unidentified office in the old 1914 Nueces County Courthouse |
DESCRIPTION |
|
Interior view of an unidentified office possibly located at the old 1914 Nueces County Courthouse in Corpus Christi, Texas. Two men sit at separate desks in a room furnished with at least one typing stand. The man seated at the desk in the foreground was a cotton broker with Boyd Campbell Steamship Lines. The man in the rear of the room is possibly Fielding B. Cochran, manager of the Anderson-Clayton Company. Note the upright phone on the cotton broker's desk while Cochran's phone is a more modern style. The rear wall is set with two windows, both covered with blinds. |
