DESCRIPTION   Interior view of an unidentified bar believed to have been located across from Noakes Machine Shop in Corpus Christi, Texas. Eight customers, all male, stand before their mugs of beer. The man in glasses is Jerome Jalufka from Violet, Texas. The bartender stands next to the beer cooler. This bar sold Budweiser, Rainier, and White Rock beer, and offered bags of Tom's Roasted Peanuts and boiled eggs. In the foreground is a twin marble table, a mechanical pinball machine. These games were very popular and provided cheap entertainment during the Depression. This particular game cost 5¢ to play.
