TITLE   E. L. Caldwell Cistern Company
DESCRIPTION   Interior view of the E. L. Caldwell Cistern Company in Corpus Christi, Texas. Three men in dirty work clothes stand in the middle of a warehouse where cisterns were manufactured from cypress or cedar. The shop was powered by a centralized gasoline engine. Power tools were hooked up to belts, which were powered by a line shaft that ran along the ceiling. Transom windows illuminate the warehouse. Note the various sizes of cisterns in the facility.
