DESCRIPTION   Interior view of the W. C. Shaw Barber Shop located in Corpus Christi, Texas. No fewer than seven barber chairs line the room, and a shoe shine chair can be seen in the left foreground. Five barbers, two customers, and a shoe shiner are all visible. The three center barbers were known as "the three Shorties;" the one in the middle is Shorty Brunson. Brunson wears a Depression era tie, which was made of gingham and discarded after being worn once or twice. The barber at the rear of the store is the owner, Warren C. Shaw.
