DESCRIPTION   Interior of the Plaza Hotel located on the corner of Upper Broadway and Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Texas. The man pictured at center was identified in 1975 as George Forshay. During further research in the 1980s he was reidentified as Dick Lear. The man on the left is Lonnie Price. Price is the only person photographed by the itinerant who remembers the photographer. C. W. Plounts was the manager of the Plaza. The Plaza was a popular gathering place for early south Texas oilmen. The building was demolished in the 1970s from the top down, one floor at a time.
