DESCRIPTION   Interior view of Coney Island Cafe in Corpus Christi, Texas. Three men and three women in wait staff attire stand behind a wooden serving counter. Customers sit on stools at the counter and at tables on the opposite side of the room. Seated at the near table is Dr. Franklyn Yeager. Jim Sarris is behind the counter to the right, and next to him is Mr. Papas. Mr. Sarris and Mr. Papas were the co-owners of this establishment. The Coney Island Cafe sold a cold plate lunch for 35¢. On the rear wall is an NRA (National Recovery Administration) sign and a Ritz Theater advertisement for John Bold and Gloria Stewart.
