Job 934, Plays - Greek Play, 1948

Summary: This play by translator, playwright, and journalist Lewis Galantière was based loosely on the history of Corinth. Bel Geddes and Galantière came up with the concept for the play in 1948. Galantière's finished a draft of the play, but it was ultimately put aside for other projects. The job files include their correspondence, the script, a synopsis of the play, and a playreading record which states that while the play is intelligent, it is "too talky" and "totally lacks any sex interest."
