Description:

Published portfolio titled The New Mexico Portfolio (Santa Fe, N.M.: Center of the Eye Photography Collaborative, 1976) containing one print each by twenty-five photographers. The portfolio was directed by Alex Traube, and produced by Andrew Smith and Paige Pinnell. It includes introductory texts by Beaumont Newhall and Henri Man Barendse. Issued in an edition of 125, 100 of which were sold and 25 of which were proof copies for participating photographers and those involved in the portfolio production. The Ransom Center's copy is number P7 and belonged to Anne Noggle, and it was donated to the Ransom Center along with the rest of her archive (Anne Noggle Papers and Photography Collection (PH-02615)). The external dimensions of the portfolio case are 36 x 28.2 cm. Print information follows.
