Description:

Set of stereographs in box entitled Grand Canyon (Meadville, Pa.: Keystone View Co., circa 1900]). Originally containing 36 silver gelatin stereographs, the Ransom Center's copy is lacking numbers 7, 16 and 19. Images include views of the canyon trails and vistas, mule trains, and National Park Service buildings like the El Tovar Hotel and Phantom Ranch. Published on curved cards with publication information and a caption printed on the recto, along with a set number. A longer narrative description is printed on the verso.
