Description:

The collection consists of nine photographs by Johan Frederik Busch (Danish, 1825-1883). The photographs, all mounted on lightweight cardboard, are plates from Busch's Danske, Slesvigske og Skaanske Prospekter (Copenhagen: Chr. Falkenbergs Boghandel, 1865). The publication was issued in a number different volumes, so the plates in the Ransom Center collection were arranged to reflect their published order. Print information, with booklet numbers, follows.
