Serial first published as American Annual of Photography and Photographic Times Almanac (New York: Scovill Manufacturing Co., 1887-1902) and later published as The American Annual of Photography (New York: Tennant and Ward, 1907-1952?). Twenty-six early volumes contained a total forty-two mounted photographs, including collotypes, photogravures, collodion printing-out paper prints, gelatin silver printing-out paper prints, and gelatin silver prints by various photographers and photographic printing companies. An item-level list of those plates, noting photographer, title and medium, follow.
