The collection consists of 46 gelatin silver prints taken between 1959 and 1972, including 38 by Ralph Eugene Meatyard (American, 1925-1972). Many of the photographs are portraits of Guy Davenport and other literary notables, but also included are photographs Meatyard self-described as “Romances."
