The albums, entitled ‘Travel Photographs taken by Richard Aldington,’ date from 1928 to 1931. The photographs were taken by Aldington and Brigit Patmore, and are accompanied by captions and notations by Aldington and Derek Patmore. Aldington's travels to Italy, Portugal, Spain, France, Austria, the Isle of Capri, Sicily, Tunisia and Greece are all documented here. Among the loose prints, of particular note, is a formal portrait of Aldington taken by Man Ray (975:0094:0009).
