Description:

The collection consists of 42 photographic prints, most of which are portraits of various people, including one of poet and writer John Gawsworth (British, 1912-1970), (pseudonym of Terence Ian Fytton Armstrong). Also included are three photographs of his friend and associate, author M. P. (Matthew Phipps) Shiel (British, 1865-1947), several of Shiel's family members, and the heir to his cottage, Patrick Miller.
