The collection consists of 185 pictures of and related to the literary critic and biographer R. A. (Rolfe Arnold) Scott James (British, 1878-1959). Included are formal and informal portraits of people who may be his relatives, and scenes of Ireland, some of which were used in his book An Englishman in Ireland.
