HRC Leaf A29 Catholic Church. Antiphonal leaf, Ave Maria, 1st tone, Nicene Creed (incomplete). Italy?: 15th century 1 leaf: parchment, 616 x 414 mm. Written in Latin, late gothic textualis formata (leaning towards rotunda). Layout is six long lines of text ruled in dry point alternating with square musical notation on 4-line red staves. Decoration includes a 4-line decorated initial "P" formed by a red dragon breathing green fire; foliate trail in green and red extends from the dragon and down the left margin; 2-line inhabited initial "a"; and 2-line red and blue pen-initials throughout. Paginated in upper right corner on recto; and in upper left corner on verso, pages 74-75. Text: (incipit) "Patre[m] o[m]nipote[n]tem factore[m] c[a]eli [et]... et i[n]carnat[us] est de s[pirit]u sa[n]cto ex maria v[ir]gine et homo fact[us] est. Crucifix[us] etia[m] p[ro] no-."
