HRC 3 Catholic Church. Book of hours. [Flanders?]: 15th century. 103 leaves: parchment, 155 x 107 mm. Written in Latin (fol. 1-86) and Flemish (fol. 86-99), Gothic batarde script. Decorated with three full-page miniatures, sixteen text miniatures, and three large historiated initials. Binding: Disbound; formerly bound in black goatskin over paper boards (retained as HRC 3a). Provenance: I. B. Richards; Walter John Bruce Richards (1835-1904); acquired by the Ransom Center in 1963 with the "Illuminated Manuscripts Collection" from New York bookseller, Lew David Feldman (House of El Dieff).
