“The rope motif generally associated with Orga of Valencia appears under the list of characters on the first page of the suelta. Each end is finished off with the marks § within parentheses. Orga most often used a star in these spots, but I have seen examples of other styles as well, including this one. It should be noted that the rope motif also is used on our 144.14.1, where the printer is not named. This play does not appear to be disbound.
