| John Bioren | John Bioren began his publishing career with the firm of Mountford, Bioren and Company in Philadelphia in 1794. In 1795 he went into partnership with Patrick Madan to form Bioren and Madan, and from 1797 he traded under his own name only. Bioren died in 1835 and his firm went out of business.
