Tower PublicationsTower Publications (also known as Tower Books, but not to be confused with the imprint of the World Publishing Company) was founded in New York in 1960. In 1969 Tower Publications purchased Belmont Books. The imprints at first continued separately but from 1973 they were merged as Belmont-Tower Books. Transworld PublishingThe firm of Transworld Publishing was the London publisher of imprints including Corgi and Bantam from the 1950s to the 1990s. U. P. JamesThe brothers Joseph A. James and Uriah Pierson James founded a series of publishing, printing and bookselling firms in Cincinatti from 1831, of which the most prominent were named U. P. James and J. A. and U. P. James. U. P. James engaged in all the publishing activities of their firm. The brothers dissolved their partnership in 1854, and U. P.
