Contact for Margaret Vaughan   1869-1925

Also known as Margaret Symonds and Madge Vaughan (see 'Who's who in Bloomsbury' by Alan and Veronica Palmer); daughter of John Addington Symonds. Her estate passed, apparently without probate, to her widower William Wyamar Vaughan. His estate was divided by his will (probate London, 10 March 1938) equally between his three children, Janet Maria Gourlay (i.e. Dame Janet Vaughan - q.v.), Halford John Vaughan and David Wyamar Vaughan. Neither the copyright holder for John Addington Symonds nor the copyright holder for Dame Janet Vaughan claim responsibility for the estate of Margaret Vaughan.
