Christopher Morley was such an important figure in the bookshop’s community that two tags are dedicated to him. This one represents the numerous individuals he counted among his many friends. An influential member of the literary community more broadly, with numerous connections in book and newspaper publishing, Morley had a warm personality and a wit to match and was a familiar sight wandering through the city with his hat and pipe.
