employee who arranged poetry readings for Beat generation poets. Dorfman's
correspondents include the colleges and universities that sponsored readings and
the
numerous poets in Dorfman's circle of acquaintance: William S. Burroughs, Gregory
Corso, Robert Creeley, Diane Di Prima, Robert Duncan, Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac,
Denise Levertov, Gary Snyder, Gilbert Sorrentino, Louis Zukofsky, and others.
