Abstract:
Includes manuscripts and
correspondence of the Irish poet, journalist, artist, and mystic George William
Russell, best known by his pseudonym AE. Among his manuscripts are page proofs
for
his final collection of verse and his notebooks containing color sketches. Letters
by Russell to Frank Harris, Frederick R. Higgins, Seumas O'Sullivan and others
are
present. Manuscripts of a Russell bibliography and an edition of selected letters
of
Russell, both compiled by Alan Denson, are also present.
