Abstract: | Contains chiefly manuscripts and some letters of the English novelist Storm Jameson. The manuscripts represent her earliest novel, The Pot Boils (1919), as well as the original typescript of her autobiography, Journey from the North (1969-1970). Also present is a copy of her husband Guy Chapman's handwritten manuscript for A Passionate Prodigality (1933). Most of the correspondence is written either to or from her literary agent, A. D. Peters, 1938-1963. There are also a number of letters from Jameson to professor Theophilus E. M. Boll, 1960-1984. | |
