Contains manuscripts and correspondence of the English war poet Siegfried Sassoon.
A number manuscripts by Sassoon are present, representing his poetry and also work
on the author George Meredith. Extensive correspondence with Max Beerbohm, Edmund
Blunden, Sir Sydney Carlyle Cockerell, Sir Henry Head, Henry Major Tomlinson, and
others is present. Many of the works and letters by Blunden and Sassoon are decorated
or illustrated with drawings.
