Scope and Contents
The Russian Theater Production Photographs Collection consists of sixty-five photographs documenting performances of various plays in Moscow, Leningrad, and other cities, circa 1920-1967. The photographs are oversize (most approximately 17 x 23 inches) black-and-white prints that were used in an American Education Theatre Association (A.E.T.A.) convention exhibit in the 1960s. A few of the photographs are reproductions of scenic designs. Most of the prints have labels on the reverse with identifying information about the productions. The photographs are in alphabetical order by production title. |
