The Archive of the Encino Press consists of production materials (manuscripts, galleys, paste-ups, page proofs, etc.) and related correspondence documenting the publication of seventeen titles by this Austin, Texas press from 1965-1969. Among the authors represented in the materials are Andy Adams, Ramon F. Adams, J. Frank Dobie, Robert Hancock Hunter, Jack Frederick Kilpatrick, Mary Lasswell, John A. Lomax, Paul Patterson, Orland L. Sims, Flora Ellice Stevens, Edward Larocque Tinker, William H. Vann, and Dorman H. Winfrey. The materials are further described in Willis J. Lutz's A Bibliography of the Limited and First Editions of the Encino Press and the Collected Works of William D. Wittliff (1970)
