The collection consists of 110 pictures of and related to Evelyn Waugh (British,
1903-1966). The majority of the items are interior and exterior views of Waugh’s residence.
There are also portraits of Waugh, various family members, and other people among
the loose
prints, as well as 17 images of or pertaining to Hugh Walpole contained in an album.
An
index at the end of this guide lists photographers whose work is featured in this
file.

This collection forms a part of the Literary Files Photography Collection that is
comprised of photographs and albums withdrawn from the libraries and/or papers of
literary
figures, and generally includes portraits and images collected by or of those figures.
