Abstract:
The papers of American poet, photographer, filmmaker and actor Gerard Malanga include manuscripts for his writings, a large correspondence file, and writings by others. Many close associates are represented, including Daisy Aldan, Richard Eberhart, Charles Henri Ford, Allen Ginsberg, Willard Maas, Marie Menken, and Andy Warhol. The Ransom Center additionally holds photographs and sound recordings from Malanga.
