Abstract: | The British publisher and writer Grant Richards is represented by manuscripts of several of his novels, autobiographies, and other writings; correspondence with authors, agents, and other publishers; and agreements, manuscripts, and business papers related to his publishing firms, Grant Richards Ltd. and Richards Press Ltd. Among the numerous correspondents are Ernest Bramah, Marie Corelli, Theodore Dreiser, Frank Harris, A. E. Housman, Jack Kahane, John Masefield, Ezra Pound, George Bernard Shaw, and H. G. Wells. Additional materials for Grant Richards at the Ransom Center include books by or previously owned by Richards in the Library; photographs; and printed ephemera in the Vertical File Collection. | |
