Scope and Contents


The papers of Assiniboine playwright, poet, director, actor, and teacher William S. Yellow Robe, Jr. (1960-2021) include drafts, production files, photographs, recordings, and other personal and professional material from 1988 until 2019. The collection was a gift of Yellow Robe’s wife, Jeanne Domek-Yellow Robe, and DG Copyright Management.
The collection is organized into five series: I. Drama, 1988-2015, undated; II. Other Works, 2000-2019, undated; III. Production Files, undated; IV. Residencies, Talks and Conferences, 2001-2019, undated; and V. Personal and Professional Papers, undated.

Separated Material


Films and sound recordings are preserved and accessible in the Ransom Center’s Reading and Viewing Room with advance notice. Four published scripts were separated and are accessible through the library catalog. Digital files were separated and are also accessible by appointment.
