The John Steinbeck Literary File Photography Collection consists of 68 photographic prints, including portraits of Steinbeck alone, with his third wife Elaine in various places, and at the 1962 Nobel Prize festivities in Sweden. There are also movie stills from productions based on Steinbeck's works, including East of Eden and The Grapes of Wrath. An index at the end of this guide lists photographers whose work is featured in this file. Further descriptions of some items may be available in a card catalog in the repository. | ||
